End-of-Life Care and Death Management

The difficult experience of being diagnosed with a terminal illness often comes with varied emotions and the challenge of figuring out how to manage the details of end of life.

It is a unique and trying time.

In an effort to give you peace of mind and assist you in preparing for this part of your journey, we have organized information and, in the Resource Guide, some steps to help identify priorities for focus.

These steps will help give you peace of mind, knowing you have covered the important items that may be a benefit and comfort to your loved ones.

Resource Guide

The Resource Guide has been compiled as a handy, one-stop reference for the many aspects of palliative and end-of-life care and supports.

The Guide covers topics from disease management, to loss and grief, to a variety of community and social supports. It also covers the difficult topic of death and the administration of dying.

The Guide was completed in 2019 and will be reviewed and updated annually. For resources not listed in the Guide or for further insight into supports across the community, please reach out to us at outreach@pcsbv.ca.
