Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are grateful for the support the Palliative Care Society of the Bow Valley (PCSBV) received this past year. Healthy participation in our Speaker Series, Hike for Hospice, and Golf for Hospice re-imagined events confirmed that our mission remains important to Bow Valley residents, even when we must be physically distanced.
The challenges and tragedies of the pandemic highlight the importance of compassionate and collaborative end-of-life care close to home. The efforts of many volunteers continue to support our mission to provide full-spectrum palliative care (from diagnosis to end-of-life), the construction of a future hospice, and the delivery of programs. The PCSBV used the time in 2020 to recruit board members and continue talks with various partners about land acquisition, building concepts, and funding models.
GOLF for the BOW VALLEY HOSPICE is a go – August 31st, 2021!
Our Golf Committee is working with Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club to plan a safe event for 100 golfers on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 plus a virtual auction of unique, one-of-a-kind items. The entry fee per golfer is $375, which includes 18 holes on a stunning golf course, fun competition, prize opportunities, delicious food, and a tax receipt for a portion of the registration fee will be issued following the tournament. A few weeks before the tournament, golfers and non-golfers alike will be able to preview and bid on our auction items.
We cannot accomplish the significant goal of building a Bow Valley Hospice and delivering programs in our community without your help. We hope that you will be able to contribute to the success of our tournament and auction this summer.
We truly appreciate your interest and ongoing support.
