LIVING WITH LOSS WALKING GROUP

Living With Loss Walking Group Fall & Winter Sessions:

Location: Canmore Recreation Centre - 1900 8th Avenue Canmore - Participants meet at the front desk

Time: From 4:30-5:30 pm

Please note: These sessions are held indoors on the Canmore Recreation Centre Walking Lane

The Living with Loss walking group is a compassionate and welcoming space to connect to, learn from, and listen to each other. During these sessions it is common to enjoy discussions around remembrance, resilience, and reflection. This drop in program is open to the public. 18+ years of age.

GRIEF NAVIGATION

Personalized one-on-one or group consultations with PCSBV's specialist grief practitioners.

COMPASSIONATE COMPANION PROGRAM

These dedicated volunteers help with palliative supports for individuals and respite care for family members along with grief companioning. 

CAREGIVER WELLNESS

Are you a personal caregiver? If so, then you are among the 8.1 million Canadians supporting loved ones. [Health Council of Canada, 2012] As a carer, you are aware that the challenges and rewards of caring require a significant toolbox and access to a variety of local and online resources.

PCSBV is committed to partnering with you to navigate to the resources that best address your unique needs. Watch our website for announcements regarding fall/winter support groups. As well, we invite you to connect with us about our support companion program. As a carer you are not alone.

DEMENTIA CARE TEAM - PILOT PROJECT

PCSBV‘s team of volunteers with specialist training providing support to families navigating dementia through caregiver respite, resource navigation, and quality of life activities.

Focusing on in-depth discussions with local, national, and international thought leaders covering a wide range of engaging topics.

PRECIOUS BELONGINGS BAG

Produced by members of the Mountain Cabin Quilters Guild, these bags are a gift from PCSBV to families grieving a recent death. Each bag is intended to transport home the personal items left behind by a loved one who has passed on. The bags are a sign of our compassion for the family and friends at this difficult time.
