Join the Palliative Care Society of the Bow Valley (PCSBV) at Hike for Hospice 2023!
Alongside our compassionate volunteers, PCSBV offers innovative programs and support to assist families and individuals in navigating the resources they need all along the palliative journey, as well as coping with loss and grief. None of this is possible without the generosity of our donors. The PCSBV annual Hike for Hospice provides a great way to raise the much-needed funds to support the growing demand in the Bow Valley. Help us help our community.
When the path is uncertain, we walk with them to find a way forward to live their best life possible.
Leading up to and during the event, we invite you to post your pictures or videos by tagging #hikeforhospice. You can also share info from our Facebook (@palliativecarebowvalley) and Twitter (@PCSBowValley) pages to inspire others to join in. And… we have prizes up for grabs too!
Date: Sunday May 7, 2023
Location: Canmore Recreation Centre, 1900 8 Ave, Canmore, Alberta.
Event timing:
9:30 am – Arrive and Check-In
9:45 am – “Hike” Opening Ceremony, Team Prizes, and Warm-Up activity
10:15 am – Hikers hit the trail
11:30 am – Hikers return
Noon – Event Concludes
Registration & Fee: Individual and Team hikers can register. Please invite your network of family and friends to join you. There is a $25 registration fee per person (no tax receipt issued for registration fees).
Our Goal: $15,000 and some community fun.
