The Palliative Care Society of the Bow Valley recognizes we are situated on the traditional territory of Treaty 7 and Métis District 4. We honour the hearts and footsteps that have crossed these lands for many generations, especially the Inuit, Métis and the Blackfoot Nations, including Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai, the Tsuut’ina Nation and Stoney Nakoda First Nations. We also honour Land Spirit itself for protecting, nourishing, and embracing us and for the Indigenous Peoples who have been stewards to and adhere to Natural Law.
